i think its got something more too do with oldschool jungle because i hear it in like dillinja tunes and stuff.

nope. the synth is called a Roland Juno 2. two classic examples of its use below... the name of the Beltram tune became the name for the synth sound which was then used in countless 'ardcore tunes...
yeahh!!! thank u so much still point u give m a proppa good answer there.. and theres me thinkin it was phantasm like a plonker :S it sounds lik a hoover doesnt it.
