Do you guys think that the ableton intro is worth it for someone starting out or is it missing too much to be useful?
Slash, none of you guys happen to have a copy of ableton live lite hanging around do you? I just bought an akai mpk25 and the seller lost the disc

http://www.ableton.com/pages/live_8/com ... ive_lite_8 There's the comparison chart
In my opinion, being limited to 8 audio and 8 midi tracks makes it useless. I'm usually using at least 10-15 MIDI tracks.

Personally, I rarely go much beyond 8 & 8 - and even when I do, I usually bounce down anyway.

They're pretty gd useful.
I'm in love with the track grouping idea and how it keeps stuff off my precious screen.

It'll show you that you want the full version. They're both very much worth having.
I wish I could combine some of the things with the old DAW that were extremely fast about it, but at the same time I really miss none of it.
I have two copies. Get to pmin.
