between a south london accent and a north london accent
or is it an east and a west thing??
or is it all??
Manchester is pretty much two different accents, the Irish one and the Lancashire one
Lancashire is more like Yorkshire, basically Fred Elliot from Corrie
the Irish one is Liam Gallagher
see the difference??
go on
hit me with your accents

It really annoys me when people (mostly Americans in my experience) think Australians and New Zealanders have the same accent.

There isn't one really. East London accent (stereotypically) is more pronounced, like Eastenders. Maybe there was a difference, but i've never been able to tell what part of LDN someone is from by voice alone.
It's a bit of a mix, tbh. A lot of cockney/mockney, rudeboy, accents from all over the U.K/world and received pronunciation.

From the way he says glacier, i'd say further north than Essex. Suffolk or Norfolk maybe.

Well, I was born and raised in a small town in northern California. When I went to college people kept asking me if I was from Texas. Being indistinguishable to foreigners is much better than people falsely labeling your origins when they reside in the same country.
