I'm an English student and my spelling, grammar and general sentence construction is shocking. I blame all of this, almost entirely, on Microsoft Word.

I doubt myself when spelling something. For example, I'd spell assistant right, but I always do a google check thinking that I spelt it wrong.
And my expression is terrible. But that's when writing essays.

I can only think of one fairly common word that I consistently spell incorrectly and that's guarantee. I can just never seem to picture it in my minds eye.

I think it depends how you use spellcheckers. Myself, my spelling as a child was so bad they thought I was dyslexic. In reality I was just lazy, but over time and through using computers I got enquisitive enough when I was corrected by the spell checker to bother to look at what it's changing my spellings too.
