“Public approval is a pretty ridiculous concept, especially when you’re doing work that you believe to be necessary. Some people will always be on the outside looking in — trying to figure out why people like it, why people are dancing to it — and they’re the ones that put labels on it. Is it dubstep? Is it post-dubstep? All that says to me is that they don’t understand it, and that’s their problem, not mine."

I’ll write 70 or 100 tunes in a week — all the Where Were U In ’92? tracks were written in one weekend.
He works fast :o

Very impressive indeed, but we also have to take into consideration that the majority of the tunes he makes are very, very short.
As they say in that interview, only Natalia's Song is over 4 minutes, just 2 others are over 3 minutes long and the rest is even shorter...

If you don’t have a soul in the first place, you can’t even get an audience with the devil
I get the impression he'd make a good writer too, though it doesn't seem like he'd have the attention span or the interest.

You also have to take into consideration the fact that most 4 minute+ tunes just repeat 2 minutes worth of data :)

anyone who understands production in the slightest would not be shocked that Natalia's Song was made in 20 minutes. The Structure isn't anything insane

^agreed, but is the amount of work put into something directly equivalent to the amount of pleasure that something can give to its audience? is a song that took longer to produce better just because of the amount of time put into it?

oh no not at all... im just talking from a logistics standpoint its not some outlandish claim

some of the dopest things I've done production wise have been a result of precisely executing what I wanted to do after going into a session with an idea.

"Zomby, who has engaged in a Twitter spat with bass heavyweight Roska (who invited Zomby to suck his “left black ball sack” after another non-appearance, resulting in Zomby threatening to shoot him"

Wow, the guy really knows how to treat his fans.
