My main criticism is that for most of it, it's the original melody + shifty, but flat drums. And then 4 bars of a cool sounding synth with no automation or change or anything. Chill =/= boring, repetitive. It sounds good production-wise, but I'm not going to be looking to listen to it again.

Your other song is cool though.

Cheers for the feedback, i guess. Took a listen to your tracks, pretty good production on both but i found them a bit boring imo.

I appreciate the feedback. I'd definitely say maintaining interest is a major challenge we face as producers of instrumental music.

I feel the need to clarify: I'm not calling your song bad. I'm saying that in the spectrum from minimalist/straightforward/easy listening to maximalist/abstract/progressive, the song falls more towards the former than music I usually choose to listen to. There is a huge market for music that *I* would describe as boring.

And again, your other song on soundcloud is well within my "sweet spot" on that same spectrum.
