Just wondering out of curiosity.

I got 410 FL projects saved since May last year. It's pretty fun going back and listening to stuff i've completely forgotten about.

my laptop broke the other month and I lost everything -_-
but probably still around 100 ha and yeah I like going back sometimes I actually find things that fit perfectly with a track I'm working on so just whip them in

a couple houndred over the years, since the last reformat a few months ago it's 130 atm

I've had hundreds all lost to hard drive failures and reformats. No big deal though. I don't lose any sleep over never being able to listen to the terrible trance I made in middle school lol.

I don't get why you wouldn't have a external hard drive and just copy your shit on there, if your DJing the least of your costs will be the 60 bucks (Australian) for a 1TB external WD hard drive, cheaps as chips, even if you counted each hour you put into your projects as 1 dollar I'm sure for most of you guys it would pay for itself very quickly

haha nope was a acer I got free with a mobile phone on contract, I think that says everything ha ha I fried the soundcard which blew the computer up but when I got a new laptop I was forced to start everything again so I decided to try new things and ended up 10000x better so it was good and bad haha

I delete mine after a while to keep my mind clear but i got 21

Because I'm a big, dumb idiot.

Telling people to backup their files is like when your dentist tells you to floss. You know you should. It only takes a minute. But do you? Hell no.

I have about 40, and it helps me creatively at times being able to go back to a tune iv left for a while and do some work on it, even if i dont finish that tune i find i have more ideas for other stuff.

i always back stuff up, don't understand why people don't. external hard drives are cheap now. best thing to do is to image your entire system every few weeks, that way it saves you having to reinstall all software should your system break. also keeps your data safe.

to the op, i have about 40 tunes on my system at the moment. i tend to go through them every now and then and delete the ones i don't like.

In my 'Sketches' subfolder, probably close to a 1000 or so. In my 'WIP' folder, probably about 50. In my 'Finished Tracks' folder, maybe about 10?
