He tried to get out... but they pulled him back in. A few months after Grime's self-appointed Eskimo king announced hid 'retirement' at 28. Wiley invites Derek Walmsley into his Roll Deep Studio to talk about his compulsive work ethic, his love of country, and how his blizzard of beats and rhymes is a natural response to East London's cold hearted street life.
6 pages long, 3 of which are pictures, but this is the Wire, so expect a good write-up.

large up man like derek again. the wires's having its most frequent run of urban music coverage in as long as i can remember these days.
big things. the wiley interview is a really good read.
unfortunately, one the of the steve barker dubstep reviews makes some killer factual errors. but nevermind! all coverage!
