lol, Nottingham must be cheap! I live in the cheapest flat I've seen around here (central Brighton) and that's a clean £300 each for me and my gf w/o bills, council tax etc. Probably closer to £750 a month all in for the whole lot. I know mans with studios paying £550... Your poll is useless :p

we pay 2275 pcm for our house in fulham, zone 2 london....four bedroom, 3 floor terraced town house. I was paying £525 rent (excluding all bills) this year but will go down to about £325 when GF moves in (tomorrow!)
bills are probably about £50pcm per person, but only that cheap cos shared between 7 people

haha, my sister and best mate both live in east london and pay £450 and £400 per month respectively. my sis is in a wicked flat in stokey and my mate has a massive wherehouse in hackney. fuck living in london man, its ridiculously expensive. it'd probably be cheaper for me to get a job around kings cross, conitnue to live in notts and commute to work every day!

Me and my two other roommates each pay $430 ( about £280) for the main floor of a bungalow.

That actually includes our utilities as well.

I pay like 450£ for a fucking sweet room in tooting london, in zone 3 though - which is kinda a bitch most of the time. But my rooms massive, got a mean backyard - even got one of those gas heaters outside, and my flatmates aren't too bad. Plus theres like 4 fried chicken shops within a 5 minute walk from me. £2 for 2 chicken burgers, AWESOME

if you're talking about big cities, that poll should start at £900-2500

I pay 450pcm rent alone for a 1 bed (not studio) flat the size of a shed in south manchester and that was the cheapest I could find, that wasn't a joke and was secure, the average here is shooting up by the week, to the point where council tower blocks are being advertised as city centre apartments at 600pcm *the same flats that council tenants are paying £55 a week to live in. Housing in this country needs addressing so badly it's not even funny.
