Ms. Dynamite - A Little Darker?

I listened to that BBC Radio 1 documentary on eightbar/sublow/dubstep from 2003 last night, interesting stuff.

Oris Jay is talking about a tune he did with Ms. Dynamite, does anyone know if this ever got a release? I really liked her old style garage MC'ing before she went all r'n'b-esque. Boo! still gives me the rushes when the bass kicks in. Its a shame she only features briefly on Sound of the Pirates 2.

Also, I vaguely remember hearing that there was a dark garage/2-step mini album by her called "A Little Darker" which was produced possibly by Sticky, and released around the same time as "A Little Deeper". Yet I've never seen it in the shops or heard it mentioned anywhere. Anyone ever heard (of) it? I'd like to pick it up.

Thanks for the info. I ordered a copy of that CD. I seem to remember the name though being around before 2005...

Shame about the Oris Jay track never seeing the light of day. Why not? If it wont get a release maybe someone could just whack it up on their myspace page so people could download it?

Her lyrics were always a bunch of finger-wagging arse though.

I really like her lyrics. At least she was saying something different.

The CD arrived today. Not mad keen on bits of it, bit too uk hip-hop slanted, not enough grime/garage beats for my liking. But I still like the Ms. D stuff. I hope she does more MC'ing for 2-step (or even dubstep) in the future.

IMHO Ms. D. held it down as a lyricist :!: would love to hear her over some recent grime/dubstep production. any prospects of this :?:
