maybe its just me, but these days it seems to be next to impossible to find anything new being released with the wobbly basslines that i always loved
everything good thats being put out seems to be future garage or dungeon sound, and while i do love both those sounds, what happened to tunes like these?

i know that it got old and overused but is there really no space for it anymore?
tracks like haunted and kalawanji are are still going to smash up the dancefloor so why cant any well produced, fresh tracks in the same vein do the same?
am i really in the minority by wanting to see a return of this sound?

i was listening to kryptic minds- badman today and i wished i had more stuff that was similarly hard and of the sound youre describing. there must be people still making it, but theres so much gold at the moment its hard to look forwards as well as backwards

No, I'm with you. I don't think we can be trusted with the wobble again.
It was a bit like the plot of Gremlins. They started all cute and fluffy until someone, *ahem*rusko*ahem* feed one of them after midnight and they all turned evil.

well if the demand is there, hopefully artists will pick up on that
it really sucks that wobble bass is associated so heavily with the "filthy wubz" that it has become overlooked, forgotten or avoided by most people releasing new material

What do we mean by 'wobble' bass here then?

im not sayin there aint tracks out there, just that are a lot less of them and most of the ones that are around follow a totally different vibe where the wobble is a lot less prominent or sits more in the midrange
haunted is probably the best example of what i mean

NEW \ COMER - Tonight I heard Kromestar for the first time, thank you for the post, and as cliche as it might make it, just agree with me on this: Wouldn't it sound pretty gnarly HERE /
with Kromestar's Get Up and mixx it with Bob Marley's Get Up, Stand Up?
Just a thought //_^ haha!

I think I kind of get what you're looking for.
This one as well, I don't even care if it's what you want, is a fucking tune!
