The build up before the drop

I have almost everything put together for my first song accept for my build up, before the bass drops. Without this it sounds dumb and like I've taken two tracks and mashed them together. Can somebody either lead me to a thread that teaches me how to do it, or a video (most helpful), or just tell me? I'm also not a master at FL Studio so if you could go into detail that would be of great help :)

*EDIT* This is what I mean: I uploaded this tiny little clip that some guy gave some flp for (not like I'm using it just for example) but I want to make my track do what this little part does. When its going fast you can do that in piano roll but how do you make it go louder like he does? Heres the link: http://soundcloud.com/silentskies/buildup-help

White noise sidechained to a kick, with the kick increasing speed for 8 bars. Then once the 8 bars are finished, put in a random vocal sample like some black guy saying, "****** please" or some shit like that and then just have the bass drop.

Or you could look up "Dubba Johnny Tutorial" on youtube.

This.

Or substitute them for a Snare roll with a decreasing velocity ramp.

I just uploaded a tiny clip and I know the increase of kicks makes it go fast but how do you make it go louder like this? http://soundcloud.com/silentskies/buildup-help

Also I've seen dubba johnnys video but its just voice, I'm more of a visual person :s. Again I'm not asking someone to make me a track I just need to know how to make the buildups.

I'm pretty sure if Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites didn't have that awesome melody in the intro, the song would suck ass and wouldn't stand out like it does.

Nono, I'm not going for the Skrillex sound. Yes I do love Skrillex but I'm not one of those 12 year old kids who want to be him, just trying to make my buildup :). I've made a nice buildup I like, but can somebody tell me how I can make it progressively louder like I showed in the clip? Thank you :)

I doubt 12 year olds want to be Skrillex, or even know what dubstep is.

Volume automation? Slowly fade in more instruments to add volume and thickness at the same time.

There's newb, then there's NOOB. Seriously, you couldn't work this out on your own? What makes shit go louder? OMG VOLUME!!! AMAZING!!! I can't help that feel you're an especially lazy producer.

How do you go about making a drop?

Find where your automation is in your DAW and then select the volume setting. then... make a ramp shape >_>

its not going louder, its going up in pitch, like either use pitch bend in the midi, modulation control area, i dunno what DAW you use, or use an LFO or envelope to control the pitch for that certain section.

build it up, swooshes, build ups, drum rolls, kicks, use high pass filters
then just bring it all back but harder
