Breakstep

It's only taken me about 4 years to realise this is what I'm all about. Sound has nearly all but died out, but I don't care about listening to 'dated' music.

This is essentially the Industrial Thread but hopefully more people get involved.

Dubstep with breakcore/hard dnb/jungle/gabber/tekno/metal influences, hit me!

Threnody, I'm looking at you after hearing that Glitch'n'Bass mix!

Do me a favor and add titles for the tracks at least.
For all of us behind a firewall at work that just see white blocks.

I've mostly been making breakstep lately, it isn't going anywhere because I pretty much hate all my music even though I shouldn't (just ask Svpreme Fiend!), but it's fun to make. I've made breakcore for years and trying to get the same intensity out of 140 bpm at halfstep is a nice challenge.

ahh i absoultely love all this sorta stuff, kinda gutted that i only discovered it a few months ago because its real difficult to find this sorta stuff on vinyl. if it's still about could someone point me in the direction of some current producers that make this kinda stuff? perhaps you threnody since you seem to know your stuff!

so much great music in this thread!
kinda funny to see how much the production/sound quality level has skyrocketed in the last years yet at the same time the music turned shit. i always thought higher general production value in a scene led to better music but oh well...

edit: yeah bigup thredony (threnody? damnit!) i loved that set. that squire of gothos tune had me jump up and bang my head :D
