Hey man, its difficult on here, most just wanna be heard.
Im feeling this, mostly because of the minimalistic nature and the drum programming. This track really spoke to me, love the snares, nice, clean and punchy. The bass doesnt sound very deep on my cans though. Will come back to this tomorrow when i can crank it up a bit.
Nice work so far mate.

Big ups man, I haven't had an opportunity to compare it on anything other than some mackie 8" monitors. I'll check your tunes out ^^

The snares are punchy...but personally I think the drums sound a little flat on this one. They need at least a tad of character? The kick is interesting. The grainy, delayed insect percussion (dunno how else to describe it) is awesome and the strings. The really big noise/air pad is great too...I feel like it'd be better off further back in the mix, adding distance. Everything feels really in my face in the mix, I think the track should be mixed in a more subtle way? Or at least elements of it should. I always feel like my comments are too colored by personal taste so take them for what you will!
Overall *thumbs up smiley face* vibey and weighty just the way I like them.

I really dig the intro vocals. Shits got a mellow mood too it. the bass kick in is awesome the bongos sound nice. got a really good shuffley pattern to them. I would really like a damn copy of this song man props.

nice track, i really love the percussion and drum programming, especially the rushed and delayed accents. the bass sounds a little 2 dimensional, I kinda feel like it sticks out against the lusher elements in the mix. I really like the dark minimal vibe tho, and the vocals work really well in this context

Thanks man, I definitely agree with you, I progressed farther with different aspects of my production but my basses and melodies could still use a lot of work, I'm glad you're diggin it though, before I do a final bounce I'll probably try to give the bass a bit more depth and make it fit in the mix a bit snugger
BTW Definitely diggin Rupture! The opening is creative and it builds tension and then the drop rolls in but everything still feels raised kind of, reminds me of encountering some kind of floating entity. Good shit ;P

Yea, I know what you mean. Just really getting the hang of mixing/eq/gain structure myself...had a couple tracks lately in which I fucked the mix beyond repair and just had to move on...lol. But yea, would love to have a go at one of your tracks for a remix or trying a collab.
