EDIT:
...allowing local producers to play out their wares
on an earthquaking system
to bring smiles on the punters faces.
Good on all the risktaking promoters

Why is there no dubstep in my town in general, I could ask.

Mind
during 08 t0 10
I was travelling 1200 km roundtrip for ds
but now I'm in Sydney,
even jump-up is drying up.
So I'm appreciative of anybody who puts up dosh to put something on.

Cultural wilds of Poland, far from places where something is actually going on. Last time I was on the Audioriver few weeks ago, which was pretty fine, despite the fact there were bit too much brostep for me. Been on exactly one and the only party in my place, in a smoky room, poor air conditioning and no sufficient place on the dance floor. Lacking of appropriate sounding seemed to be the least problem there.
To picture my situation: if Poland is considered as middle of nowhere, I live in like middle of it.

120-280 miles. I do live in the north of the country and most things are running on the south. Not sure, maybe will move to UK next year, if I will only able to.

if you cant find any, then make some! I'm sure there's some people in your town that know about dubstep besides you. Hit them up, start a night, even if it's just you and your friends, it could grow.
we used to say the same thing in san diego, years ago

Is this a trick question and the actual answer is "Because I live in a village"?

^I wouldn't want to trick
you mate.
Nah it's the state of play in Sydney, wintertime
I
was at DEFEKT vertx...it made me hungry for more regular nights...the sorta tunes you would've liked Be-1ne.
Actually I was trying to thank & encourage promoters who put up their moolah for the u/g stuff.

You ever been to Reload sd5? A few weeks back they had Boot playing. Still haven't made it over yet but apparently they have an ok soundsystem.

Reload's lineups put me off as too eclectic.
Haven't seen Boot (nor Sook) play out since Peat's Ridge
but posts that he's dying for a chance to play his own tunes.
Strangely, since making this thread, 2 new nights for u/g bass music happening:
Low Motion @ Good God incl Victim (for those who don't know one of the original VOID crew) & Preacha etal
& Astral @ Tone (promoted by guys into proppa ds)
so maybe spring's coming early & sub-bass will return
I hope so cos my neighbours are complaining.

Ah, the light at the end of the tunnel!
What's Good God Small Club like? Small I'm guessing haha I missed Oneman there back last year whenever it was and been kicking myself about it ever since.

Also the DSS/Low Society boys just locked down a venue in the inner west, will be different music every week, but there will be a dedicated no-nonsense (i.e. bro free) dubstep night monthly

Easy enough to get a sound system, venue and bunch of mates, take it from there.
