Fruit World Cup.

Take 16 different types of fruit, write them down, put them in a hat and draw them out. No seeds. (There's a joke there somewhere.) Then go round the table asking everyone to pick their favourite in each match. I tell you what, the tension when watermelon was playing mango...

Apple came out on top in the end, much to my chagrin.

Table Rugby anyone?
Sit opposite your opponent at one of these:

(which were fucking awesome by the way - they top was a lid so you could keep all your shit underneath - i was gutted when my school finally ditched them)
put a 2p coin hanging over the edge near you, you then get 3 flicks to try and get it to hang over your opponent's edge. then you have to reach over, flick it up into the air with your fingers and catch it to score a "try".
your opponent then makes "rugby posts" with his thumbs and forefingers. you spin the coin on the table. then as it spins you have to trap it between your thumbs and use them to flick it through the rugby posts for the "conversion".
can be combined with the "flick a coin at each other's knuckles" game.

School coin games were the one.

We used to play with 2ps, get it spinning on it's side and then take it in turns round a circle flicking it to keep it spinning.

The twist was that whoever let it drop had to put their fist knuckles-down on the table, whilst someone got a "free flick"... firing the coin as hard as they could against the loser's knuckles.

I *still* have scarred knuckles from this... tbh, it's amazing nobody got Tetanus!

Used to find a large peice of brick, or stone, and stand at each side of a walled alley. Take turns in throwing the brick at eachother. Whoever got hit lost.

Looking back at it, it was pretty retarded. many, many, many injuries.
