Narration or Deep voice effects.

Im trying to figure out how to get my own vocals to sound really deep and narration style voice. Like in Excision Shambala 2010 in the begging how does he do that? Im pertty techy and cant figure it out haha. If anyone knows that would be greatly appreciated.

Poor man's method: Record your voice speaking your words quite quickly, pitch down on playback. This has some drawbacks (shifting formants and the like) but can be effective.

Ok so ive tried that. And i dont just want a deep voice but i want that gritty optimus prime distortion ahaha.
