Just had a massive brainwave...

If your pissed off with brostep, tired of telling people you play/listen to dubstep, only for them to assume something completely different from what you actually do. Just spend about 45 minutes, do your bit (as instructed below), and help bring "Dude, this bass is gonna melt my face off" music out of the dance floors and back into the metal, screamo genres that they were meant for.

1. Download a free version of fl studio
2. Make a Skrillex-esque track (just 140 bpm, kick-1 snare-3, 3-osc for the bass, automated LFO, etc.) should take no longer than an hour
3. UPLOAD IT TO YOUTUBE WITH THE NAME SKRILLEXX (sic.) Put in the description that it is imitation Skrillex, tag with skrillex etc.
4. If necessary use a filthy simile in the description (e.g. filthier than my expression when dubstep started becoming synonymous with brostep)
5. Flood youtube with shit-produced brostep.

KIDS WILL GET BORED! THE METAL-HEADS OF 2005 BECOME THE "DUBSTEPPERS" OF 2011! THEY WILL MOVE ON!

Please. If someone recommends Skrillex's essential mix to me one more time I will go to jail for murder.
