Well it's very "abstract" in a sense, I mean it's really minimal with no real hooks. Quite like Rustie in that regard - Rustie's got tunes with no real hooks and quite a lot of what I would call "abstraction" while managing to still make them catchy -, I think. So I could see why your friends would not like it... but if you get it it's a really, really huge tune

(All Your Love is my favorite track from the EP though, it might be one of the tracks of the year)

this tune is fantastically strange

I'm not sure about this one. I've a feeling that if someone other than Hudson Mohawke made it everyone would hate it. It goes down big alright though.

Not true, well in my case anyway, this is the first track I've heard of Hudson Mohawke, and I absolutely love it!

this and Thunder Bay are my fav tracks of the EP. people who hate it obviously havent heard it on a bigrig. straight dirty south beats

This is a mad tune, whole EP is fire though. Octan would be a great set opener.

I hated this at first listen. It seemed abrasively obnoxious and trying too hard to sound like current Hip Hop with the 16 note HH shit. BUT. After a few more tune-ins I get it.

yeah, this EP is awesome, and this is the best track... i heard it for the first time back in june and was instantly in love <3
