The high frequencies sound very harsh, and though I'm not very good at identifying these things yet, I do notice a noise in the background. I believe if you tone it down a bit, it would be a pretty good track. Also, your drums are lacking bass. I have my sub turned up to max on bass, and most tracks rattle my house, this really doesn't too much. If the drum intro was a lot punchier, it would definitely create a more intense listening experience. Just my 2 cents! Looking forward to hearing the finished track!

I see some people doing it either way, I personally will probably post all my tracks in one thread. And no problem! Bass is definitely tough to tackle, I was working on the first song in my sig for a good month (first song I've ever produced). With some help on here, I was able to EQ it better, and it sounds cleaner now. Just out of curiosity, what program do you use?

very dry and beginnerish sounding, everybody has to start somewhere ..I think putting most of the sounds in some kind of space = reverb, would already improve things a lot + eq'ing that high squeeling sound through eq/filtering.

thetomster- im currently working with reason..ive been using it for a while...once i get a new computer and some cash flowing in my life id like to move on to ableton as it seems for fit for the dub side of life...thanks for the feedback dude!

plugexpert- whats good man....you have stated the true facts of life....everyone starts somewhere! i definitely got to work on the eqs...i love new ventures into music...i feel like a little kid...very exciting...thanks for the feeedback!

i just started a new thread where im gunna put all my tracks on...i figured it would be best to start one with out a track name.

ya nice start! could use a few things,

def try messing around with reverb it will create alot of space and depth and really help fill the track out

try adding some other sounds, like some pads and a little melody in the higher registers to give it more substance and life

and change things up so it doesnt get repetitive, like a changeup in the drum pattern or introduce a new chord progression or melodies '
