She's a complete joke to people with sense. Maybe more so than Palin. I think Palin is more respected than her now by some folks if that gives you any idea. What's scary is with a country of 300 million+ divided people, she should be taken seriously in regards to making it pretty far in politics.

Sorry I can't resist posting this again

The whole country is like a pantomime when it comes to politics. I mean, there is no balance, huge characters that make the public go wild with hate or giddy with love like they're watching WWE or something............

The worst thing is the fact that so many american's take these people's word for things, but not only that, if there is a slight religious angle it's multiplied and people start disbelieving the guys with the PROOF to contradict these wild claims.

Not having a go at the US, but from the coverage of the political races over here, that is the impression I have gotten.

Haha im glad it wasn't too far off from the real deal. I mean, it's crazy that these people, even if they don't ever win an election, have got some serious sway over peoples attitudes to alot of important issues but the biggest worry is one of my biggest pet hates, people disregarding evidence of science and trusting the words of people who havn't actually got any proof of a claim that contradicts it haha. It's mental.

Do you guys from the US vote at all?

yea for me generally based around independent candidates with a solid track record of voting for what the talk about and stick by their convictions which is a rarity
unfortunately the media never gives them much coverage, hell look at how they've been downplaying ron paul
personally it'd be nice to see these debates they always hold not consist of easy questions with prepared answers or follow up on things like "we want to help small business" with well can you name 10 small businesses in your community that you frequent
