Glyphex- The Final Stand (Cinematic mesh w/ dub rythm)

I recently started up the Electronic Music Club at my community college, Rock Valley College. We go over techniques used in the production process, and have also started up a radio. School has kept me rather busy, however, I have managed to keep the tracks rolling at slow and steady pace. I would appreciate any listens and subscriptions. Thank you!

Wow, good stuff man. Nice intro and nice ending. I like that steady melody you have come in around 0:25. You're right, it has a really cool cinematic quality. Reminded me of the new tron soundtrack. Maybe bring the drums up a little more in the mix though. And try putting just a tad of reverb on the snare. Sounds pretty much finished besides that.

Thanks for your feedback

Very nice feel! Suits a cyberpunk action flick for sure! Your sound design is nice, I love the synths and the melodies definitely convey the feeling of 'epic saga hero staring over the city he defends' or something haha. The grisly bass that plays around 2:00 is a bit muddy, IMO, and your all around tone is a little flat. The secret to mastering yourself is not mastering! http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=220854<- good read on the subject!

Indeed! Haha I love that kinda stuff. Hopefully when I have more time, I can go back and perfect some of my music! I've been in FL Studio for about 8 months so I feel I have much to learn. Right now, Calculus II is overbearing -_- Studying on an Uber scale
Awesome link by the way! Fantastic read! Thankyou for your feedback

This is really good, love how you've done the melody and the overall mood is good. I agree with Triphosphate that this would fit well in a film.

Amazing soundscape indeed. Very strong composition.
Though I'll second what Sonic Arts said about the percussion as well as Triphosphate's opinion on the bass.
Also that gated pad seems to interfere with the other sounds to an extent there. Maybe it's just me, but I'd check it out just in case.
Overall though, solid job there. Big ups!

Thankyou for your kind words. For the bass, I lowered the frequencies around 40 hz and it does sound alot cleaner. I also layered a hi pass snare with reverb and it sounds nice! Thanks! The pad/choir sound is personal preference, I likey.
