Harmor features a unique and modern additive synthesis engine that emulates classic subtractive synthesis as well, taking sound generation to the next level.

Key Features

Additive / subtractive emulation - generating sounds not possible with traditional synthesis methods, including the ability to draw custom filter shapes, and offering precise control over every aspect of the sound conception.

Image & Audio Resynthesis - allowing a faithful, sampler-quality resynthesis of audio, not a vague sound-alike often met in additive synthesizers. Images too can be imported and turned into sound.

Envelopes and articulation - as originally seen in Image-Line's flagship synthesizer Sytrus, are taken to new levels of features, flexibility and GUI integration.

Sound creation- possibilities are endless, but not bewildering. Stutter, mangle, stretch, pitch and manipulate both audio and images beyond recognition.

oh nice. i plan on getting ableton this year and i was actually wanting to buy this synth when i get it. but then i found out it was only for FL. glad its coming elsewhere. to be honest im just sick of hearing about massive. this synth looks promising and has a killer GUI

btw do vsti's work on a mac? or just AU's? sorry im out of the whole vst loop. reason user

Logic uses just AU. I'm pretty sure other daws can use vsts.

A killer gui? It looks like some hungry monster puked 10 synthesizers out.

Anyway sounds amazing. I'll take 10.

Can't watch the video as Im at work - but how is this possible? Seriously mindblowing if you're really able to import an image and make sounds of it..

That`s an old concept.
It works very well but can get very noisy depending on the image used.

this synth is amazing, one of imagelines best, besides sytrus. the saws it creates can get so deep and gritty and OMG. It has 4 dubstep presets and even A YOI PRESET. This is amazing.

i tried putting in an image and converting it to audio, but when i put the audio back in i only get the lower half of the picture.
i bounced out about 50 versions with different parameters but only managed to get different resolutions, with one exception but i can't replicate it. even there parts of the top half are still missing.

im not arsed about the presets (i know u was bein sarcastic dont worry lol) the presets are shit compared to the variety of sounds achievable from clicking around for like.. 5 seconds :o
iv messed with the demo for a entire day now & i totally agree! all the main features on it are amazing! crazy vocal & drumloop manipulation can be done since it resynthesizes samples (iv only ever dreamt of this becoming a reality lol, no homo)
its mad, iv been using samples like granular synthesis & then tweaking the harmonic timbres.. rather sexyy, also its dead easy to automate since its works natively with FL. this is seriously good and im sure this plugin will get loads of haters in the future il tell you!
im totally buying this ASAP instead of komplete 8 that i was saving up for!
iv bearly slept using this its addictive making all these new sounds :i:
regardless of me using sytrus & massive etc intensively for years.. this synth is just sick and it does what others cant. this is no hype sh*t.

what are peoples results using the image reader?

hasezwei all my results end up really high pitched, and the spectral display looks disgusting lol. it looks like a bunhc of crazy snakes.

and sunny_b_uk. you know the two waveforms that you can define in the top left? basically you just draw them?

well i either tweak/draw by selecting the Harmonic Timbre Level in the ENV section or i right click on 1 of the waves on the top left and press randomize. but yeah its kinda more of semi granular synthesis when im doing that because im selecting wavecycles of the sounds i put in the "sampler" and then im tweaking the waveform further by messing with the timbres.
also with the image reader i havnt tried it out bcoz iv messed about on alchemy with this crap and it sounds sh*t whenever trying that lolol. maybe il have a bash and show you my results with the image thing if anything interesting comes out!
