just got back form Reconstrvct and I got a bit involved with some folks who were very involved with the Occupywallstreet thing. i went to Zuccati (sp?) park and spent the whole day there sunday observing and taking it all in, and also getting involved in some discussion myself. all day saturday i spent near Union Square and witnessed a large part of the police aggression. anyway, i think that unless you are THERE you cant really comment on what is actually happening. there are some good articles about it but to me the point was this.
99% vs. 1%
you are not the 1% you are the 99% who is being FUCKED by the 1%.
the 99% is ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE from ALL CLASSES.
this is an age old debate. but actually undertaking this process happening in that park, is something new.

this is the most intelligent thing that i have seen come out of that park, so please take time to understand that its not just hippies and ignorant lazy people in that park, there is a diverse range of intellectuals and media guerillas attempting to organize nonviolent rebellious dissent.
