Half the time, if not more, the musicians hired for backing are more talented that the 'stars'

Why would you pick one of the lamest songs ever rhythmically?

i know its fun to do at home, but i see no appeal in these videos. If you can play along to some venetian snares or something, then god damn. But this is painfully basic mate.
I love the drums. There are some live Dnb cats who blow my fucking mind. Could be done with dubstep too, for instance some shackleton, burial, or to mimic the chopped up breaksy stuff by Toasty, for instance. to mimic the feel that was created by slicing breaks, but on real drums with different instrumentation, yet still capturing that feel. That would be mad impressive. ... this is like watching a college student fill in a coloring book. u stay in the lines, but c'mon

Not a fan of sweet shop, but i like your drumming man. [2]DAY is right though you should try some more intricate dubstep beats, it would be much more original.

I'd definately say more than half the time. Session musicians are the best about really. Absolute pros.

well they get all the shit the day of. I know a guy who records the charts for sheet music publishers, he gets 20 charts right before the recording and the records them all the day of. Flawlessly. fackin nuts.
