Help with bass/percussion(FL studio Users)

So I have been making dubstep in fl studio 9 for awhile, and always try to make my own percussion loops with one shots, my only issue/question is how can i make the bass still sound good and loud and not go over some of my percussion sounds. My percussion style is sharp and bassy, not like 'brostep' percussion. Anyways..any screenshots or tips by any fl studio users..on how they EQ their percussion and bass would be nice.

Well if you want to keep your bass strong and bassy, then you have to cut some lows out of your percussion otherwise they will clash. Otherwise have you tried sidechaining? You could sidechain the bass to the percussion but leave the sub untouched? It may sound horrid I don't know, but you never know unless you try, you might actually get some nice results.

Are you talking about sub bass, or midrangey bass?
If it's subs throw a low pass, or eq out below 90ish hz. And a high pass on your drums at about 100.
If it's midrange bass, open up Parametric eq 2, look at the frequencies, start making cuts or boosts and listen. If you boost a certain frequency, and it kills your percussion sounds then cut it. Then do the same for your percs Try not to leave many things boosted in your eq, also.
And subtractive gain is your friend.
