Anakratis - Faces of War/Frozen Planet (Liquid/Dub&Bass?)

Hey all,
Just wanted to say hi, as this is one of my first posts on here
I recently switched gears in my production, and went from trance/techno to dubstep and drum & bass. Please keep in mind that some tunes will be a little more liquid, as I'm trying to adapt to dubstep production.
This is just a quick sketch/preview of my next idea.
Thanks again, and enjoy!
EDIT:
Here is the full first mixdown. I will make several more small changes. I also edited the song title to "Faces of War". Thanks again!

nice dude that's a tight riddim. im curious as to what you use for basses that makes them sound so gritty. im really feelin the glitchy computer sounds that you have between the bass segments after the drop. i hope you make a full version of this one!

much appreciated
i still think the wobbles in the main section should be more defined. i'll have to figure out how to do that.
there is a deep sine bass that was created with lennardigital's sylenth1, and i have a couple instances of native instruments' massive (which are the wobbles) layered on top. the glitchy sounds was created with ni's guitar rig pro. i was lucky enough to find a nice patch that created an effect like this

if you have sylenth1, i can send you my custom sub bass patch that is used in the tune

i use albino3 for pretty much all my basses so id rather figure out how to get some real distorted/gritty sounds out of it than switch to another synth. i guess im stubborn that way. do you split your frequencies up when you're making basses so that you only apply certain effects to the upper frequencies and vice versa?

I don't know if it's "splitting", but I do like to have an even line of frequencies. When I make my basses, I always have a spectrum monitor on the master channel running, so I can carefully EQ each sound to be playing at a different frequency to make sure all sounds can be heard and are clear.
