Anyone arrange using the launchpad?

Just put some feelers out to see if anyone does any of their work on the launchpad. Ive just plugged mine in after months of not using it and finding its a great tool for getting some "writers block" problems out of the way.
Hoping to put some finished works up soon but just wanting to hear in the meantime if anyone has any luck with it?
Cheers
Craig

I have the APC20 and I use it all of the time to get rough arrangements.
I like just jamming out on ideas and I'll have a bunch of scenes setup beforehand as well. It's truly inspirational for me and I like it better than trying to launch clips with the mouse.
In fact, I originally bought it for live use but now it just mainly lives in my studio.

Thanks guys @MKS when you use your APC20 what do you do with your sub bass? Do you include it and if so how? Do you bounce it down with the audio sample ? or do you do the sub later on?
Cheers matey

I will have all of the parts already written including the basses and then I will jam with the parts using the APC. For the parts of the arrangement where I know what elements I want, I will create a scene in Ableton so you can trigger the whole scene with just one button. Then it is easy to take clips in and out where you want to. I always to the final arrangement edits in the arrangement window, but I will do the rough arrangement in Session view playing all of the parts in real time.
