How can I make this sound even more tribal?

I have this so far: (purely experimental)
Soundcloud

Anything else i try and chuck in just makes it feel wrong.
All you masters of the tribal/no kick style, gimme some production tips/point me to a thread.

Edit: i might take away the chipsound, it kinda ruins the vibe of the song

Make the percs less repetitive, get some more progression in the actual rhythm as well.

Add some hats/one-off fills, etc, etc.

PAN!

Stereo widening and a careful choice of reverb.

Get 'Drums of War' for Kontakt maybe, it will thicken it up.

get rid of that tambourine underneath the kick
