he did that famous one where he followed a guy and recorded his footsteps and when he gets into the church the whle atmosphere sounds different- cant remember which song t was now

I still take all that interview stuff with a grain of aphex, I mean salt. It's not that crazy I guess, I've done similar walking around cities, but I wouldn't expect it to stand out in a mix... just adds some depth and background noise and a cool story to tell.

He has also talked about his amazing fire samples he has. As Lectric said, there's probably some of his own mixed with other recordings/samples. He's got a great ear for samples that's for sure.

Fire samples? I haven't even heard fire. I think his rim shots/snares, and hats are amazing, though.

I always got the feeling that he recorded his own voice in Untrue

I thought he got his name from the Rhythm and Sound Burial mixes. In his interview he said that he's a Rhythm and Sound fan and the Rhythm and Sound Burial mix vinyls used the same font as the Burial albums
