Masterful musical multi-tasker Kwes has been busy of late. A trip to the Congo with Damon Albarn to record ‘Kinshasa One Two’, tinkering away in the studio with Micachu on Kwesachu Mixtape Vol. II , producing Speech Debelle’s second album as well as finding the time to write, record and produce his own material due for release next year on Warp. He's also been honing his debut live show in preparation for the performance on 28th November at The Shacklewell Arms.
Already championed by Zane Lowe, Dazed and VBS online , 2012 looks set to be the year when Kwes’ own creations and compositions break him away from the studio and into the spotlight.
