It is sort of doing Biome a disservice by labeling him as neurofunk though, but yeah, this.

Amon Tobin rly isn't neurofunk to me... ISAM was fuck knows, genre defying...
isn't it like phace and noisia n calyx n teebee etc?
i guess the funked out stuff Koan sound are doin atm probably could be considered summin like this tho..
tunes like these are what im talking about all great production and time put into them but the plastic sounding drums is what makes me stop the song and leave it be

yeah i get what u mean about the drums, they seem to get more and more dull(as in all middley) and super compressed, noisia, phace and misanthrops 140 efforts have been proper shit as well, like the two tunes at the end of the neosignal podcast... synthesis is cool but, the drums are all squashed n gross...
I like stuff like this tho.. jazzy
also skip to like 19:40 on that neosignal podcast, fucking sick roller.
also unrelated kinda but this tune is pretty sick as well:

amon tobin.... i know him best or doing splinter cell soundtrack. "theme from battery". i dont get what 'neurofunk' is, i have biome-space on vinyl and i love it but how is it 'neurofunk'?
woah ive been sleeping on Koan Sound, bout time to start paying attention again. this track is a heater and definitly has that neuro/techstep influence. To me neurofunk is purely a dnb thing though, i do use neuro to describe asthetics of other music its just the whole word neurofunk to me will always be dnb. More and more neuro/techstep influenced stuff is popping up in dubstep and i love it, whatever anyone calls it.

couple guys called 'melamin and wicked sway' dub themselves 'neurodub' (pun intended)
but its up to you to pass judgement for yourself.
imo neurofunk is the stuff that noisia, phace, break, octane & DLR etc are pushin out
