anyone know of any 3/4 time signature dubstep tunes? i know almost every dubstep tune is in 4/4 anyone here experiment with a different time signature and stopped caring if a DJ could mix it or not?
simpler terms for people who don't understand 3/4
3 beats per measure/bar, quarter note (1/4 note) gets the beat.
i'm also working on another tune in 6/8 at the moment, hoping to have it up for download soon. i really like listening to and writing dubstep in 3/4 and 6/8, feels really natural to me.

both those numbernin6 tunes are his best work, but they're regular 4x4 structure, even the hats n shit are quantized.

Actually just started on a 3/4 track yesterday and its sounding really nice, its a challenge to get it sounding like a dubstep tune but thats what im enjoying about making it. In the 4 years or so i have been producing i have never messed with other time sigs out of laziness really but i think this could be a new direction

I wrote a tune in 6/8 at 160bpm once. That time signature/tempo gives you the same kind of halftime feel that 4/4 140bpm does. play around with it a bit, have fun
