I couldn't find any talk of the focusrite saffire 6 in the soundcard section of the bible, so i was wondering if people had anything good or bad to say about it?

i'm looking to pick an external for christmas, so if anyone has recommendations for the saffire or something similar, it would be much appreciated.
cheers

Great little soundcard, never had an issue with it or any problems, would recommend it for the price

Got it after my lexicon ionix u22 broke down on me (Loved the lexicon but never understood why it would just randomly broke down, and it did feel a little bit cheaply put together) and the saffire 6 has been great so far, solid box, go for it.

Got it set up here after my UX2 crapped out, it's a hell of a lot sturdier and sounding better, so it's great!

Looking at getting a Focusrite. Is the PRO 24 USB as well? I don't have firewire on my PC

Focusrite also has the newer scarlett interfaces which are usb 2 vs the saffire at usb 1.1

I have the 8i6 and have no complaints.

I'm pretty sure its firewire but it is also very easy to add in some firewire ports on your pc if that is what you are after.

I run mine through firewire into a macbook pro and it's a great soundcard for the price. Best one I've owned by far.

Edit: Woops, I actually run a saffire pro 14..love it though and would back any saffire product :4:
