I'm always shit at knowing what I want for Xmas. I need some ideas about what I may like. I hate people buying me clothes, so thats a no go, and I'm pretty sorted for music equipment (decks, headphones etc).

What sorter things are you lot asking for?

ha, my mamut jus asked same question. No fucking idea, honestly hard nowdays as shit you want is usually far to expensive to ask for, clothes are too risky, drugs aren't appropriate, food is too perishable etc....

cash or gift cards
otherwise i tend to end up with shit i don't want or returning stuff

Always get cash from the parents. But cant really ask for cash from the GF, GFs family, brother etc. Maybe ask for Boomkat vouchers or something, but then would just be better to ask for money incase they dont have the tracks I'm looking for. Got HD-25s last year, so all sorted for headphones. Dont need a new mixer or anything.

I keep a list over the preceeding year - anything my GF even remotely shows a passing interest in, I make a note of it. Then, when Xmas/birthday rolls round, I consult the list, pick a few items at random, add the obligatory box of chocolates/Lush gift set and job done

I could use some new speakers at home, but would probably need to get a decent amp to go with them too. Could maybe ask for one of them and buy the other myself with xmas money.
