I'm just looking at tips for gearing music towards animation or film.

I'm also looking for animators to create cartoons or films in respect to my music. I think it's important to allow this kind of interaction.

I'm not really looking for music videos but rather a collaboration. I'd also be interested in soundtracking animations that are already developed.

Best thing is to head to nearest college or uni and find the media and film students there. They will killed for people to do audio work for them. Great way to also make contacts with people if your into producing for media and film.

This site is very helpful for this sort of thing.
