the circus records facebook page posted a new song from them which has gone on the playlist at radio 1, needless to say it's awful but i've never seen such a negative reaction from the facebook fans of the label, with comments like:

Tom Hughes - awful.
Justin Gray - Can't say i like this. That's a first
Frank Cattermole - Toooooo shit
Jordan Hallett - Tracks awful
Alonzo Lewis Jr - where's the bass?

interesting...

It's called superbad. Sounds like a bit of a mess tbh. I quite like a lot of circuses stuff, it got me into dubstep, but this isn't for me. At least they're trying something different I suppose.

It's just the same as Skream / Benga / Magnetic Man have done. Release a track with pop chart aspirations, while generally keeping a mix of 'underground' (notice the inverted commas ;-) ) and crowd pleasing in their live sets.

If you can, I guess why not...

But yeah...haven't liked Circus' output for a long while now.

They always had a knack for thin productions, so this should come as no surprise.

Garbage.

Radio1 has been shit for years anyway. Especially after chris moyles started thinking bass cannon was the best thing since sliced bread.

Sounds like something I'd find in the Dubs board.

hmm, overall i like it. and trust me im not into this type of sound at all, and it definitly stomps all over my general accepted line of cheese but some how they squeezed just enough funk in there for me to dig it. Its got a little of that late era funk that got a little to disco. like i said pure cheese but still groovey to me.

overall though circus is too over the top for me, def.
