Arranging Drops & Other complex Parts

Just wondering how people arrange some of the more chaotic drops etc in their music. Ive tried sitting there working in arrangement view in Ableton and it takes forever. By the time you have done it your so sick of it, it justs sounds rubbish. I think im going to resample all my sounds (and different versions) into one drum rack and trigger them from the launch pad. Anyone tried this?

Has anyone else got any other way of working as id like to hear it?

Chheerrrrrsss!

iv never once thought drops are complex, i spend soo damn long making the actually tune that creating the drop ends up seeming like a piece of p*ss
if your havin trouble with a drop, just listen to build ups and drops of songs that u like and pay attention to what exactly it is that gets the impact.
the build up needs to hav emotion somewhat.. the listener needs to feel lifted off their seat.. like something amazing is about to happen.
bit of a weird explanation (maybe) but iv never really seen anyone explain a drop before, but its how i go about it :)

haha thats really odd. I make the tunes ok its the drops where i think ahh this doesnt hit the nail.
Ive seen quite a few posts over the last few months where people are asking how to arrange a drop.
You must be a natural! Lucky !

im not sure about being a natural iv been producing a long time to be fair lol.
perhaps creating pitch bend sound FXs and layering them (so its more intense) putting it right before the drop will help.
also dont go to loud and wild with drums before the drop and definately no sub till the song kicks in because that will lose most of the impact.
id say the entire build up section makes a whole difference to the drop :W:

yeah your right just check out your latest you have nailed the drop again.... what a pisser! i need to get my head around it! just annoying now. Im hoping the launchpad will give me a bit more of a creative flow if all the samples are in a sampler. We shall see. Thanks for the advice.
