I have a mini 2 that I use for Ableton...but If you have Windows 7, expect it to crash at random.

Really? :o
Everyone I've heard using that combo usually have some sort of unexpected crashing going on.
I can't seem to fix mine...I just have to deal with the BSOD on a daily basis...

I've had the blue screen at random moment when I try to launch Pro Tools but I've never had it with Ableton

The driver i'm using came from Pro Tools LE...It should come with the unit!
It's just a bummer it crashes at random :'(

i DLed the new drivers from avid for win 7, but im not getting anything in control panel to enable it in audio devices for playback or recording :/. i read that you have to uninstall ASIO, uninstall any old digidesign drivers, then install the new ones.

anyone know how to delete old digidesign drivers?? where would i even find them.

i've got an M Box 2 mini and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. people buy the M Box 2 range for Pro Tools not the actual interface.

having said that the new range is top notch! i would go with the regular M Box or M Box Pro because the mini only supports sample rates up to 48kHz and no MIDI. actually i'm not sure if the other 2 have MIDI either.

Isn't the Digidesign Drivers in the ASIO tab in ableton?

I use m-audio's fasttrack pro which works nicely, not a standard m-box or anything, but it's cheaper and does the job! :)
