Didn't know you were into CV Deadly! He played the heaviest set I've ever experienced on a rig. The sub on his 1/4step tunes felt like it was literally coming up out of the floor.
Spor blew my mind first time I heard his tunes aswell. Talented dude.
Spor’s intros have always been legendary in my book. Just mesmerizing. Epic sweeping pads, dark atmosphere, then suddenly a growl comes up from the ground… Movie quality.
Valentine, As Dusk Falls, etc…

he's a sound design maestro.. 50,000 Thoughts was the first record I ever bought
NOTHING destroys the dance like CV.
I was kinda dissapointed he started writing girlie 2step.. that code of chaos tune he did with nanotek was pretty weak imo. havent really been following him since

I was big into CV in the late 90s, with his stuff on Position Chrome. Then Dylan bought up his Indivisible Force/What's In It in like 2005... Indivisible Force is still one of the most insane tunes ever, and really original sounding. That sound wore off to me though, he has a very "cold" robotic/mechanical sound. I have respect for him though and I always check out his new output as he's an amazing engineer, just never was feeling his tunes after that... even the recent Björk collab.
But you're right, even in dnb circles not a lot of people seemed interested in his techniques besides the snares usually.
Speaking of that, since it's the production forum, check this:
