Hi

i was just wondering whether an amp is really required for personal use when using a MIDI controller such as the KAM Digi Mini, which is the one i am looking into atm, thought id start off small and work my way up. I am currently using Harman Kardon Soundsticks II and i was wondering if i could just plug that into the audio output from the KAM Digi Mini? just wondering whether i have to spend like £50 on an amp if i dont need to

Thanks :)

No you can't, the KAM is a controller. It doesn't generate any sound and therefore it does not have any audio outputs.

i think i might have worded the question wrong, if the controller is plugged into a computer which is too plugged into speakers, does that work? i havnt actually got it yet so this is kind of hypothetical :L

coool, so an amp isnt really needed? unless you were performing with more, high powered speakers?
