I'm currently working on a project for a band and I'm wondering if it's achievable to create a backspin effect in Reason 6?

For example 1:17 :

I tried automating the bpm real quick but no effect whatsoever.

Try pitching everything down really quickly? I know doing that works in Ableton, dunno about Reason though.

Problem is, I'm working with piano and some pads. They can't be pitched down.

In reason 6 probably not, there is a plugin called turnatablist pro that might do that, I haven't ever tried it. You'd need a DAW like cubase, ableton, sonar, does reaper support vst's? I believe that's donation ware.

you could export your song and load it into virtual dj, record, and apply the backspin effect that's built in. import into nn-19, profit!
