I think my liver, or possibly my kidneys are failing.

I started getting these pains in my right and left side above the pelvis 2 years back I think. I have no idea why I never got both of these things checked. I must be the biggest dumbass to make these decisions. I don't know why they started happening, but everytime I drink certain alcohols, or eat fatty foods, or sometimes just out of odd occasions, I get a pain roughly 10-20 minutes after, and either one of the two, or both sides of my stomach start to hurt to the point where I have to lay down just to ease the pain.
It's obvious I need to go see a doctor, I just need to get my insurance switched because the current insurance i'm under will completely fuck me over if I get this checked out, or god forbid have to go to the ER.
I don't know why i'm posting this here but I guess I just want to hear your guy's reaction to this.
This has to be the equivalent to asking "What should I do if my foot has grown blue boils and there's discharge coming out of my eyeballs?" on yahoo answers.

Does it hurt when you piss? If not, chances are it's not your kidneys.

Switch that insurance and see a doctor, hopefully you get better soon.

If your pancreas or liver had been failing for 2yrs, you'd start to have serious side effects more than the ones you've listed.
It could be anything - stomach ulcer (though you'd be in more pain), acid reflux, severe trapped wind, intolerance to some food stuff or other, hell you could have overdone it one time on spicy food and damaged some of your stomach lining.
Go to a doctor if it's bothering you that much.
