Snow Leopard running on 2011 MacBook, for anyone interested

For anyone interested... I successfully managed to do this, even though Apple and Geek Squad both told me it wasn't possible.
Someone spilled water on my computer (I'm not mad at them I , so I had to get a new one. As you may know, a lot of plugins are not compatible with Lion, such as Komplete 7 (can't afford to buy 8 right now, obviously...), not to mention I hate a lot of things about Lion.
Well, the old hard drive was ok, so I put it in a USB enclosure and starting my computer from it, and it worked just fine. So far no issues. I cloned the hard drive over to my external just in case the old one is ruined from the water, and I'm running it off that until my 750gb internal comes.
The i7 CPU is badass... Hyperthreading works fine, not sure about TurboBoost as I have no idea of telling, but it's fucking fast, and will be even faster when i put the internal HD in it and my new RAM. Thunderbolt works fine going to my external monitors as well.
If anyone needs to do this ans is unsure how to go about it, I would be glad to give you more details. IT will only run on 10.6.6 or above from what I understand. This will NOT work if you are trying to install SL from an install disc, as you can't get a 10.6.6 disc... Might be able to special order it though. This method would also let you clone your old HD and then update to Lion.
By the way, it turns out it's a mid 2011 model, not a late 2011... I don't see any reason it would work on a late model though, it's the same hardware AFAIK.
Hella excited about this, definitely a blessing in disguise.
