Best club in London?

I'm starting a club night next year and I was wondering what everyone's opinions of the best clubs are and I don't think I've ever seen this discussed on here.
Plastic People has always been a favourite for me, even as it is now, the atmosphere is nice and everything about the club is, succinct. Its a good space with a good sound system and from talking the manager, it seems to have good values as well. I'm not sure about Corsica Studios and Rhythm Factory. Corsica Studios has always been hit and miss, when I've gone to bass nights there the crowd has always been a bit shit, as opposed to techno nights where the atmosphere is great. Its a rather small and stripped back club and I think that works better for techno. Rhythm Factory on the other hand is a weird one, I think the space it self is amazing and the line ups are good but it never seems to draw the right crowd.
There's also the rest. Absolutely love Area but I've only been to Renegade Hardware there. I enjoy Fabric when I'm there as long as the musics good but when I'm not there I'd rather spare myself the hassle. Then there's Cable which is a tacky hell manifesting as a dancefloor.
What do you think guys?

I love Plastic People, but I much prefer Corsica.
Rhythm Factory has a totally weird atmosphere... I've only been twice, I think.

Its been asked already but what night you thinking of putting on? All the clubs you have mentioned are big established places & to put a night on in one is gonna cost you alot... Are you looking to book big Djs etc?
Plastic people is wicked as im sure everyone will agree. I've not heard the new system yet though! A few of my mates put a night on at the russian bar in Dalston wich has a wicked system for what it is. Problem there is that everyone turns up at 2 cos thats when all the "trendy" places shut & people wanna carry on (its open till 5.) The other one in Dalston is the Alibi which is where standard place is. Thats is a quality venue the dancefloor is tiny but the system is massive in comparison! Been to loads of places around south as well which are decent. The Bussey Building in Peckham can b good depending on whos running it & the sound system etc...

Last time I was at Rhythm Factory, there was people sitting on the stage in front of the DJ ignoring him, and my mate's bag got robbed. Rough place.

Hidden. Like somebody has squashed Ministry of Sound. Always have a good laugh there, outdoor area is lush, plenty of opportunities for mischief and associated shenanigans.

I think th rhythm factory has got allot better over the past year or so. It used to be pretty grotty but some of the nights they do there now are decent. Intent to supply in particular. Always good vibes at that night and the crowd is always friendly. I think they got a new sound system there aswell as a year ago it was pretty pony.
I always say its hard to judge a club based on one or two visits. You really need to go a few times and on different nights to get a good idea with how a venue caters for a variety of crowds.

Yeah liking Hidden. Outdoor area is wicked. Decent for a bun too!
Rhythm Factory has the slightly ghetto vibes that I like. Havent been for a while tho. Similar to Crucifix Lane.....altho not so keen on the main room there, all about room 2!

All about the sound systems really! Shit soundsystem shit club in my opinion
Ministry of Sound as a club is awesome! Sound system is powerful! shame most of the promotions in there are shabby! Seeing Todd Edwards in there a few months ago was a real highlight!!
Fabric is obviously very good! always seems too rammed in there tho!
Cable was wicked for the last get darker
plastic people havent been since the new sound system
rhythm factory wasnt impressed with
Rate Corsica very highly!
What about
Plan B
Brixton Jamm
XOYO
Babalou
Brixton Mass

Really depends on the mood, and what kind of a night I am going for. For a more traditional UK Dubstep sound I would head to Plastic People. Has a great vibe, plus the manager is a good friend. Recently Cable has held some good Dubstep nights, slightly heavier to what you would hear at Plastic People but still enjoyable. Not a huge fan of Fabric, a little too 'ravey', dark and smokey for me.
From my perspective I would love to see a Dubstep night (or club) which is not afraid to blend both the old school and newer sounds of the genre together (i.e UK/US). Not sure if we have a weekly night in London for this? But from the promotional work I have done in the past year for a few nights and gigs I know there is a huge demand for it. Basically just stay relevant with the genre.
