I love all the seminal and crossover classics that laid the foundation, but this genre is about versatility. I just wouldn't waste my time writing an article talking about how dubstep has been taken advantage of by global capitalism and the mainstream, when I could write an article about how the sound is stronger than ever. Think positive!

lifecycle on genres summed up as well as possible. the OP link just seems to be the same whining you get on here sometimes.
people need to listen to the music they like.You cant control what people think/do so just gotta deal with it and get on with your life. Complaining about how a genre changes is futile, it has changed, youve just gotta support the part of the genre you enjoy and enjoy yourself, no point getting worked up over something you cant do shit about.
