This week, Barna's newsest subterranean bass bunker hosts a VERITABLE DUBSTEP EXTRAVAGANZA
Featuring Barcelona's very own BASAL record label, who are joining us to celebrate the launch of their 2nd EP (PATTERNS) with label head LA CREMA and stablemate JESPERE presenting ANY SHAPE. Purveying a sophisticated sound that remains faithful to the early dubbed out sounds of Croydon whilst incorporating a transglobal influence, fusing East and West, the traditional and the modern, the sublime and the abrasive ANY SHAPE is quickly shaping up to be an act that demands attention. After appearances at Barcelona's famous BUS and ILOVEDUBSTEP parties at razzmatazz and hosting their own BUD PETS soirées we are very excited at the prospect of having them down in our little bass bunker.
In need of no introduction in Barcelona's bass scene is B.LOW's SATTA.B, who will be delivering the profound sound that Barna has come to love. B.LOW's parties pioneered the dubstep sound in Barcelona, introducing some of what are now the biggest names in the scene, bringing acts like GOTH TRAD, MALA and LOEFAH to name just a few and nurturing acts like CARDOPUSHER, TUFFIST and NEUHEN. SATTA.B was integral in this scene and remains one of the most relevant and interesting DJs in the city.
Resident LIVEPA artists THE PRIMATE and FITZROY NORTH will be providing support with a spontaneously hardware generated array of subsonic terror. Did I mention the free door till 0130?
