All the pros kicks hit really nice at 55-70hz (depending on the key of the tune). I find this really hard to do. I have almost all the vengeance packs, but there are so many shitty kicks and only a few good ones, and the good ones don't sound professional even after heavy processing. What do you guys do? Do you layer a few kicks together or is there some secret electro house kick sample library I dont know about

vengeance = electro house libary you already know about. they're all in there ,its all about careful layering and frequency sculpting, as well as side chaining

I've no experience with them, but I've seen a video with a plug in that creates kicks. I remember it sounded nice but I can't remember the name.

Vengence make a kick drum plug in. looks the shiz for adding a layer of beef to your breaks/sampled drums

Eh.... Probably has its use. But if you're in FL... make your kick in Sytrus. You have absolutely the most ultimate control. If this sounds absurd, say so and I will send you a preset.

How is it hard to make your kick hit at 55-70hz? Do you not know how to synthesize a kick? Just take a sine wave to start and give it a falling pitch envelope and tune it to fall from 70 to 55hz. Layer shit over it and there you go.

Some of the best House/Electrohouse tunes ive heard just use 808's or 909's

Or you can always shanghai the bottom end of someone else's kick by throwing a hard LP filter on a section where the kick occurs without bass, then layer another HP'd kick above it to add timbre.
