One of my all time favourite Dj's. We got to have the chats with him a few months back after his gig in Dublin.

Dubstep is not slowed down electro, it’s not slowed down DnB, it’s not what soul full house sounded like 20 years ago, it’s not chainsaw’s and power tools, it’s not. No optimus prime, No energon cubes, no megatron, no devastator none of that!

What's this 'dubstep started in the US' campaign then?

There was a campaign lodged by some US dubstep fanatics a while ago that dubstep started in the usa around 2007, nuff respect haha

Il give the writing a going over with a quick edit and sort out some minor mistakes. Up and coming interviews with Perverse, Caski, Gemmy, Cyrus and Youngsta on the way too.

I think the scene over here has gotten so stagnant, its so hard trying to push the original, darker and sub heavy sounds that i personnaly fell in love with. I think theres a good few top quality producers over here too who just arent getting enough exposure or pushing themselves hard enough. suppose the site is hopefully a way to give them a platform to get a little more notice if their tunes appeal. As well as that its nice to be able to have a chat with many of who, inspired me and the others that run the site, into the genre. a chance to get to know them and why they did what they did and do what they do is greatly appreciated.

Great read, Joe's gotta be my favorite DJ of all time, getting to meet him and watch him play have been some of the best experiences of my life, he's consistently at the top of his game, he's got a 1 in a million personality too.

ive been lucky enough to see him play out three times this year. close to the three funnest nights of the year, almost certainly the three best sets ive heard out.

fucking badman dj, never seen anyone juggle two tunes the way he does, such an exciting and interactive performer.
