So I really enjoy the collaborations that you can hear each producers sound come through the tune, and you can easily recognize who did what. What tunes do you guys know of that you can easily distinguish the two producers sounds, and what can you distinguish in those tunes.
For me, I can very easily hear both Cyrus' bass coming through Tunnidge's drums in

There was a skream and joker collab is a good example. I don't remember the actual name of the song, nor do I know if that was there only collab. Could hear the two styles for sure.

Parma Violets - Skittles is what you're talking about ^^

Silkie & skream untitled, both there influences come through nicely, you got skreams style of sorta lfo bass, and silkies chords dunno if thats the best way to explain it, anyway its a big tune, also agree about parma violets another big tune.

Great fucking example. Love that tune. Also the guy above who stated DJ Madd & Phaeleh in 'Ritual' also made a lot of sense.

this is one of the things i absolutely love about dubstep.
a few examples:
icicle and distance- exhale
tmsv and madd- difference (deffo a madd bassline and tmsv on percussion imo)
commodo and lurka- airtight but especially gassin

Joker & Jakes - 3k Lane is a pretty obvious one, but I think that may have been more of a mashup than an actual collaboration....
Benga & Coki - Night has always fascinated me in this way, like the drums are very Benga and the bassline and atmospherics sound like Coki, but who's the mad scientist who came up with that synth? In my opinion that's the greatest non-bass synth line in the history of dubstep and I always wonder who actually made it. Its so unique that it sounds nothing like anything else either of them have done, so maybe it was a team effort?
Skream & Distance- Travels is another one, the guitar (or whatever that is) is obviously a Distance thing, but the rest sounds like a perfect blend of their styles

seemed to think joker / TC it ain't got a name wasn't too hard to figure out what belonged where, but i mean, with the sounds joker comes up with, is any collab with him hard to define?
like this topic!

Great example on "Exhale" definitely can hear very distinct influences from both producers. I can't really distinguish the producers on TMSV & Madd collab but that might because they're not incredibly unlike each other in the first place, in the same way that it is more than impossible to distinguish the collabs in the "dungeon" producers.
Although I believe I remember reading somewhere that those commodo and lurka tracks were produced individually, airtight by commodo and gassin' by lurka. But I might be wrong.

i find madd's percussion is much sparser (save the jungle tip stuff) in individual productions than in difference, listen to tmsv tunes they are filled with rolling rattling drums (all it takes, flow, etc)... i dunno just the way i heard it tbh.
interesting abt the lurka commodo ting, never heard that, i feel like i hear strong influences from both of them in gassin... that lurka growl and the metallic pangs from commodo.

Jay 5ive & Kromestar collabs are the best, Krome's hi hats and basslines, Jay's synths and melodies...
every single tune is next level.
